Blaffer Museum Project
Objective:
Collaborate with the Blaffer Art Museum to design a gift shop item.
Item of interest:
Throw pillow
Issue:
Throw pillows are often displayed on chairs, sofas, and beds as decoration, but many people tend to use them for support and comfort.
Main Issues with throw pillows:
-They often come in square shapes which are uncomfortable against the natural curves of our bodies
-They often come in square shapes which are uncomfortable against the natural curves of our bodies
-Are often filled with cheap/uncomfortable materials such as stiff foams, little to no stuffing, and even plastic

Final Product:
Mint is a throw pillow that is both decorative and functional. Its trifold design can accommodate many sitting positions. The pockets can store small items or hold a heating/cooling pad for extra comfort.
